Sahasra's Arangetram
What is Arangetram?
Arangetram is a Tamil word which means "ascending the stage". It is a traditional ceremony in which the Guru and Shishya offer before the learned and the discerning, the rewards of long period of striving to master a great art form.
It marks the completion of the dance training and the blossoming of the dancer into a full fledged art exponent. It is an opportunity for the dancer to show their mastery of the Bharathanatyam dance form and seek blessings from the Guru, family, friends, and well-wishers.

Thank You!
With Gratitude, Seeking Blessings
With deep gratitude and reverence, I bow to my Guru, Smt. Chandna Talluri, whose unwavering dedication, guidance, and love have been the foundation of my Bharathanatyam journey. Her inspiring spirit has instilled in me the values of discipline, perseverance, and devotion to this sacred art. As I take this significant step onto the stage for my Arangetram on July 26th, I seek the blessings of the Almighty, my Guru, and each one of you—my cherished family and friends.
This milestone is a reflection of the love and support I’ve been fortunate to receive, and it would mean the world to me to have you there to witness and bless this special moment in my dance journey.
