About Me
Outside of dance, I’m a committed public forum debater, co-captain of my school’s team, and a national competitor. I’m also passionate about medicine—particularly dementia and childhood obesity—and I work with nonprofits to blend research and advocacy for better healthcare access.
My Journey
I’m a rising junior at Head-Royce School, and Bharatanatyam has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I began my formal training at the age of eight and have since performed at various venues, from cultural festivals to local nursing homes—experiences that have taught me how deeply dance can connect, heal, and serve.
A few years ago, I had the privilege of joining Narthanaalaya Dance School under the guidance of Guru Smt. Chandna Talluri. Her mentorship has not only strengthened my technique but also deepened my devotion to the art form.
In my free time, I volunteer at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience, where I help care for animals and educate children about conservation. Whether I’m rehearsing, studying, or working in the community, dance remains one of my most personal and powerful forms of expression. I’m excited to continue growing, performing, and sharing this journey with others.
