Srivathsa Pasumarthi is a seventh-generation flautist from a family of esteemed flutists and flute makers. His musical journey began under the guidance of his father, Pasumarthi Venkata Ramana, and later flourished under the tutelage of renowned flautist Shri J. B. Shruthi Sagar of Chennai, with whom he has been studying for over a decade. Srivathsa is also an A-graded Mridangam artist of All India Radio, Chennai.
